The Oklahoman Sons bring a two-set experience: one set dedicated to the music of Zach Bryan, and another featuring a mix of songs from Red Dirt and Appalachian country artists.

We’re not just weekend players — each member of the band is a seasoned musician, performing 70–80 shows a year as solo artists or with other projects across the Chicagoland area and country. Though The Oklahoman Sons may be a new band, there’s nothing new about our experience.

  • Christian Alan Hansen

    LEAD VOCALS, ACOUSTIC GUITAR

    Christian Alan Hansen is an aspiring singer-songwriter with an unwavering passion for country, blues, and rock, Christian's musical journey has taken him from local bars and breweries and even to the historic Bluebird Café in Nashville, Tennessee. From a young age, Christian was Inspired by the likes of Zach Bryan, John Mayer, Chris Stapleton, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Christian found a unique blend of influences that shaped his distinctive sound. He began performing live in 2023 and has since made his way across the United States, including notable cities such as Norfolk, Virginia; Nashville, Tennessee; Sanford, Florida; Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; Decorah, Iowa; Atlanta, Georgia and Kansas City, Missouri and even Vancouver, BC!

    Christian's performances have graced some of the most renowned venues in the country. Highlights include shows at Legends Corner on Broadway in Nashville, TN, Eddie's Attic in Decatur, GA, and the iconic Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN. A particularly memorable milestone in his career was playing 3 Zach Bryan preshow parties on the 2024 Quittin Time Tour including the show in Milwaukee, WI on March 20, 2024, and both shows in Kansas City, MO August 20-21, 2024.

  • Nik Berger

    BANJO, PEDAL STEEL, LAP STEEL, ACOUSTIC GUITAR

    Nik has played in various rock and country bands throughout Chicago and beyond, he has played with national Beatles tribute bands and Elvis tributes.! He mostly enjoys playing country music and continues to practice and keep learning.

    Clark Armstrong is a talented guitarist hailing from the vibrant music scene of Houston, Texas who quickly made the eclectic Chicago music scene his home. With a passion for blending blues, rock, and country influences, Clark delivers a unique sound that’s both electrifying and full of soul. Known for crafting catchy, fun tunes that get listeners moving, Clark's style seamlessly weaves together heartfelt blues riffs, raw rock energy, and the timeless storytelling of country music. Whether performing solo or with a band, Clark brings an infectious energy to every stage, making sure every performance is an unforgettable experience.

    DRUMMER

    Maxx Hall spends his days as a skilled lumberjack, but when the sun sets, he trades the axe for drumsticks.

    With four years of drumming under his belt, he's developed a passionate love for music that burns brighter with each beat. His love for the rhythm is unstoppable, and he's got no intention of slowing down or letting it go.
